Every year on November 8^th (National First-Generation Day) the TRIO office celebrates all our First-Generation students, faculty, and staff at BHSU. 

This year we're asking you to engage with the First-Generation Day celebration "padlet.". If you are unfamiliar with padlets, this is what BHSU uses for the graduation shout-outs. Click here to see last year's graduation shout-out padlet.

We ask that YOU (offices, faculty, staff, and students) share quotes about being first-generation or the first-generation experience, words of encouragement for students, or even your own story of being first-generation. In this way, we would like our campus community will come together in support of BHSU’s first-generation students and our dedication, as a university, to their success.

The First-Generation Day padlet will go live on November 1st and accept submissions until November 8th. Thank you for sending your shout-out! We'll post it as soon as possible.
